More photos from the 2011 Festival
We now have more photos that capture the colour and spectacle of the 2011 Tuggeranong Festival.
If you were able to participate, we hope they bring back some good memories. If not, we hope they might encourage you to join us for the 2012 event, which will be even bigger (and hopefully drier).
By the way, our sincere thanks to all the volunteers, performers, sponsors, community groups, and supporters who helped to make this event a success despite the weather, and we hope to see you back for 2012.

And there’s plenty more still to come, with the huge Doc Neeson concert, the spectacular fireworks display, and heaps more carnival fun, atmosphere, food, and entertainment.

Tuggeranong Town Park Status
Due to the swampy conditions prevailing in Tuggeranong Town Park most of the stalls could not be set up and some events in our Festival Program have had to be cancelled. However, the main stage is in full swing with community performances and tonight’s Doc Neeson concert is still on track, along with the spectacular fireworks display over the lake at 9pm.
Right now at Tuggeranong Town Park you can enjoy side show alley with a huge blow up whale slide for the kids, as well as a merry-go-round and the fun factory and for the more adventurous there’s the shock wave, octopus and ghost house. And there’s reverse bungee jumping.
If you’re hungry there’s heaps of food including sausage sandwiches, burgers, egg and bacon rolls, fairy floss, slushies, dagwood dogs, hot chips, donuts, drinks, ice creams, and tea/coffee.
There’s plenty to see and do right through until 9:30pm so come on down and bring the family.

After the Rain
With Doc Neeson from the Angels headlining tonight’s big concert on the main stage, it’s good to know that, as the classic Angels song says, it’s now After the Rain, and we’ve got patches of blue sky and sunshine out here in Tuggeranong.
So grab the kids, your family, and friends and head down to Tuggeranong Town Park, for a day packed with things to see and do (and check out our Festival Program using the link shown above). And don’t forget the fireworks spectacular tonight. We look forward to seeing you there.
